Step 1: Place 2 cups of rice in 4 cups of water using a heavy pot with tight fitting lid---salt as needed
Step 2: Bring to a rolling boil on high
Step 3: Stir once and lower the heat to medium low
Step 4: Cook for 25 minutes never lifting the lid
Step 5: Using a fork, gently fluff the rice
Step 6: Place 6 tablespoons butter evenly around the rice
Step 7: Turn the stove off, cover and let stand until the butter is melted
Step 8: Fluff gently with a fork and serve right away
